6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.
Yesterday, Elwood sent me a You Tube video and asked what I
think about it This evening I popped it up onto my TV and watched it. It shook
me. As an Adventist, I have noticed with alarm that we have lost a whole
generation of believers. I have wondered why, worried why, prayed about it, and
have come up with nothing, nada, nichts, and hamna.
The You Tube entry can be found by looking up “The
Fake Religion That Replaced Christianity in Most American Churches”.
Watch it to the end! He calls the fake religion MTD, which he describes in the
presentation. If you don’t, you are in serious danger of losing out eternally. Don’t
let the AI reader’s poor delivery make you miss the message!
While watching, I thought about my own Christian Walk over
the last 70 years. By the time I was in my upper teens, I recognized that,
according the way I had been taught to earn my way to heaven, I was lost—bound
for hell. Then I was converted to real Christianity when I was twenty. Satan immediately
pressed MTD on me, but I wasn’t satisfied. I spent the next 14 years studying
diligently. I was walking a knife’s edge which threatened to dislodge me either
back into legalism or over into MTD. Only by the grace of God was I able to
keep my balance. And I still find myself teetering on occasion. The net result
of either legalism or MTD is eternal death, to put it bluntly.
I had never heard it called MTD, but the study that isolated
this was done by a sociologist with the strictest scientific method. Further
studies showed that some 63% of pastors are not Christian but MTD, unbeknownst to
themselves. This is across all Christian denominations, including Adventism.
I urge you to watch it at your earliest convenience. It only
takes about a half an hour.
Lord, thank You for this eye-opening opportunity.
